- Regional company lists suit postal mailings, CRM matching and territory planning. Marketing emails and marketing calls require prior consent in Austria, also towards businesses (§ 174 TKG 2021).

The table shows the counted status of our database on 3 November 2026 next to the number of active businesses according to Statistics Austria for 2024. The columns count different things: our records so far come from Overture Maps and cover businesses and establishments with a location, while the official figure covers enterprises of the market economy. The gap shows how far coverage reaches, not how many companies exist.

Company list for Vienna
Vienna is a municipality, a statutory city and a federal state at once. A company list for Vienna therefore covers all 23 municipal districts; in our database that is 34,897 records. For individual districts, use the postcode, which is a column of its own in the export: in the Vienna postcodes 1010 to 1230, the two middle digits usually stand for the district (1010 for the 1st, 1100 for the 10th district). If you also need the surrounding area, ask for the adjacent districts of Lower Austria.
Company list for Graz and Styria
Graz is a statutory city and thus a political district of Styria in its own right; the surrounding municipalities belong to the district of Graz-Umgebung. A selection “Graz” therefore means the district of Graz (city). Because postcode areas do not always follow municipal boundaries, the quote states how borderline cases are assigned. For Styria as a whole, our database holds 28,151 records.
Company list for Linz and Upper Austria
Linz is a statutory city as well. Its surroundings are split between the districts of Linz-Land and Urfahr-Umgebung; Wels and Steyr are further statutory cities in Upper Austria. For field sales in the Linz–Wels area it makes sense to request these districts together. Upper Austria in total: 32,032 records.
Other state capitals
Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, St. Pölten and Eisenstadt are also statutory cities and therefore districts of their own. Bregenz, the capital of Vorarlberg, is not a statutory city and belongs to the district of the same name. In total, Austria is divided into 94 districts including the statutory cities.

- Area: federal state, political district or statutory city; near borders, the neighbouring districts as well.
- Industry: defined by ÖNACE codes, see ÖNACE 2008: industry codes. The records are not yet assigned to an industry; we confirm the available volume of an industry in your region in the quote.
- Required fields: for example only records with a website or a complete address.
- Purpose: postal mailing, CRM matching, territory planning or market analysis.

Can I get a company list for Graz or Linz only?
Yes, on request. Selection by political district is planned; as statutory cities, Graz and Linz are districts of their own. The surrounding areas (Graz-Umgebung, Linz-Land, Urfahr-Umgebung) are separate districts that can be added or excluded.
Why do some records have no federal state?
For 8,729 records, no federal state could be derived from the address in the source. They are included in the total of 218,653 records but in no selection by federal state.
